The Angelman Syndrome Foundation seeks to improve the lives of individuals with Angelman Syndrome (AS), and their families. Through education, information exchange and support for research individuals, families, healthcare and education professionals benefit from a greater understanding of AS and improved therapies and treatment. Our ultimate goal is prevention and cure.

 My Personal Message Hi everyone! I'm back again to raise funds for The Angelman Syndrome Foundation! We'll be walking at the Sacramento Walk-a-thon and I am so excited! We had such a great time last year and me and all my Sacramento angel friends raised a lot of money for this awesome cause! From our past walks we've raised a total of $1330.00 This year I'd love to more than double that! You'll notice my total from last year is included in this years work! I'd love to have raised a total of $3000.00! There is so much research and progress going on in the Angelman Syndrome community, that I am so hopeful that their will be lots of things available in the very near future. The only thing we're lacking is money to acheive our goals! Won't you please help in any way you can? I have had such an awesome year since the last walk-a-thon! First, my baby brother Jordan now has his running shoes on and he and Jocelyn are all set to come walk with me. I am now a 1st grader this year! I'm outta kindergarten and on to bigger and better things in elementary school. It's been so fun! I've made lots of new friends, have new aides to work with me and my Principal invited me to come have pizza with him for displaying a positive attutude. Everyone at school still loves my cute smile but still are not falling for it and are really putting me to work and not letting me get away with anything (shucks). I am walking A LOT now! I'm walking independently and also with a walker sometimes. I participated in my schools cougarthon and walked 6 laps, 1 more than last year...just a warm up for the most important walk...the Angel Walk! I am in my second year in little league and am having so much fun playing every week! There are now four more Angels on my team, up from 1 additional last year. Our baseball team name is the Cubs, but really it should have been the Angels! As you can see, I'm keeping pretty busy and having a good time....I'm keeping mommy and daddy pretty busy too. Whatever I can't occupy them with, I've got my sister and brother helping me keep this house moving! Well, that's all I got for now. Please, help anyway you can! If you want to join us at the walk, we would love to have you on our team! Just let my mom or dad know and they'll hook you up!
