In this installment of I Make a Difference @ Angelman.org, we are privileged to spotlight the extraordinary work, passion and initiative of a very special teenager, Kennedy Frank. In all respects, Kennedy is just like most teenage girls. In her spare time, she likes hanging out with friends, watching her favorite TV show, (if you guessed Glee, you would be correct!), shopping, and volunteering her time at the Milwaukee County Zoo. But, ask Kennedy what she considers one her greatest joys and you would get a response not typical of most teenage girls—“spending time with my younger brother, Britain.”

Angelman Syndrome Foundation recently received a donation in the amount of $7,362 from Bankers Insurance Group that will support and accelerate advancements in AS research. This tremendous gift was made possible through Bankers Insurance Group corporate charity program, Casual for a Cause. Instituted several years ago, Casual for a Cause offers employees of Bankers Insurance Group a vehicle to demonstrate their interest in and support of philanthropic organizations that are helping to make the world a better place.
