The Angelman Syndrome Foundation further solidified its dedication to research by increasing its grant award total to more than $1 million for 2011. Most recently, more than $996,360 in grants was awarded to seven principle investigators, focusing on Angelman Syndrome (AS) research. This marks the second time ASF has reached this milestone for AS research.

On Friday, September 16, the Angelman Syndrome Foundation traveled to Hollywood, California to attend a private fundraiser in support of the Dr. Joseph E. Wagstaff Postdoctoral Fellowship. The event, held at the prestigious W Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard, hosted over 100 celebrity guests in the film, entertainment, food, wine and travel industries!
