Welcome to the 2010 Angelman Syndrome Foundation Phantom Ball!
The 3rd annual Phantom Ball, the must not attend event of the year, is now under way. Invitations were just mailed, but we don’t expect to see you! Instead, the Phantom Ball offers you a unique opportunity to support the important work and mission of Angelman Syndrome Foundation from the comfort of your own home. No need to worry about finding that perfect formal wear, or arranging child care for a night out on the town. You can attend by simply donating directly to Angelman Syndrome Foundation either on-line or through the mail. By not holding an actual event, 100% of your donation goes directly to our mission—advancing the awareness and treatment of Angelman syndrome through education and information, research, supportand advocacy for individuals with Angelman syndrome, their families, and other concerned parties.
There are a variety of ways your support of this non-event will help us ensure that all who are touched by Angelman syndrome have help for today and hope for tomorrow. Just think, donating the cost of single ticket of $100 provides a complimentary membership for two Angelman families just beginning their journey. Donating the costs for a $1,000 full table helps an individual attend the 2011 ASF Biennial Conference through the conference scholarship program, while donating the costs for the entire event of $55,000 would help us honor the legacy of renowned pediatrician, medical geneticist, and researcher, Joseph E. Wagstaff, by investing in the next generation of young scientists to help us move closer to an eventual cure.

What is a non-event?
Great question! Through our non-event, are invited make a donation , which is your "attending". For the Phantom Ball, we are encouraging you to hold your very own "Phantom Ball Dinner Party", where you can engage friends and share about Angelman Syndrome and the Angelman Syndrome Foundation. What difference does my donation make?
Do you know that the Angelman Syndrome Foundation depends on generous donations, like yours. The Phantom Ball allows you the chance to choose where you want your donation to be utilized. You can direct your donation to support the overall Foundation goals, or you can specify if you would like to restrict your giving to any of the following areas: Research, the ASF Biennial Conference, Annual Scientific Symposium or General Operations.

You can make a donation by visiting our donation page or you can call (800)432-6435, 9 am - 5 pm CST Monday-Friday, to make a credit card donation over the phone.
