Tele-SPARC Study
The Supporting Parent-Adolescent Relationships and Communication (SPARC) Project is being conducted at Notre Dame University in Fort Wayne, IN. The study aims to find the best way to support families with children with intellectual or developmental disabilities through communication to improve conflict resolution.
Participation
To take part, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A couple that is married or cohabitating
- Have a typically developing teen between 10 and 18 years old
- Have an individual of any age diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental
disability
Participants can earn up to $370 and will be able to complete the study entirely on their own time with periodically scheduled check-ins with the SPARC Project staff.
