Angelman Strong events are a powerful celebration of the strength, resilience, and spirit of the Angelman syndrome community. Held annually, these events come in many forms—ranging from local walks and runs to fundraisers, community gatherings, and awareness campaigns. No matter the format, each event brings families, friends, and supporters together to honor individuals with Angelman syndrome and show the world just how strong our community truly is.

You can be part of this movement by hosting or participating in a walk, 5K, or any kind of community event. Angelman Strong events are volunteer-led in local communities.
The first 2027 Angelman Strong Coordinator meeting will be October 7th!Â

Thanks to the passion, dedication, and generosity of our community, we surpassed our 2026 fundraising goal, raising more than $1.4 million to support critical research and improve the quality of life for individuals with Angelman syndrome.

Registration Opens

- Every individual with AS registered by February 15, will be entered to win a Fat Head
starting
Feb 16
- Adult – $35 / 5K – $40*
- Child – $20 / 5K – $30*
- Virtual Participant – $35
- Individuals with Angelman syndrome – Free

March 19
- Register by March 19th to be guaranteed a shirt.
- Pick up your Angelman Strong tee at the event. T‑shirts WILL NOT be sold at the event.
- Virtual Participants will receive their shirt in the mail.
April 1
- Teams that raise $3,000 by April 1Â win a Fat Head of their individual with Angelman syndrome.
- Pick up your team’s Fat Head at the event.Â
- Virtual Teams will receive their Fat Head in the mail.

Funds raised through Angelman Strong Events support critical Angelman research and family support programs that improve the lives of people with Angelman syndrome.
ASF Funded Research has led to therapeutics that are currently in clinical trials. Our family support programs are a life-line for families in finding specialized healthcare, providing funding for therapies, and connecting them with a supportive community that understands their journey.
